Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

You will be received by your driver/tour guide at the Airport depending on your arrival time. In case you arrive in the nighttime, you’ll check into Lake Victoria View guesthouse or Papyrus guest house Entebbe for a relaxation moment after the long flight. This will also help you get ready for the start of the safari.

Day 2 – Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

After a cup of tea/coffee, we shall drive to Murchison falls National Park – Uganda’s biggest Park laying on over 5000 square kilometers. The drive will take us through the Luwero Triangle famous for Uganda’s civil war of 1980, Nakasongola’s long stretch to Masindi town.

Expect a stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a short walk to see the white Rhinos, then proceed to Murchison Falls Park.

12 Days Holiday Safari Culture and Wildlife ToursDay 3 – Exploring the Murchison Falls.

After an early cup of tea/coffee at around 6:00 am, we shall head for a Ferry crossing. Start a Game drive on the southern bank of the park. All covered with broad savannah that inhabits big cats, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, plus more for the checklist of mammals reaches 76.

We shall continue browsing through circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals. If you are a keen birder this might be your magnet to catch them.

Between 2- 5 pm, you’ll go for a boat ride to the base of the Falls. This is where you’ll get to see Hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of beautiful bird species along the falls. Elephants in the showers quench their thirst in the afternoon heat.

Day 4 – Murchison falls – Kibale National Park.

After the early morning breakfast, we shall check out of the park and drive along with Lake Albert, to the escarpment area for a great view of the Great Rift Valley. On a good day, like no rain! we shall be able to view the Blue Mountains in Congo across Lake Albert.

Continue to Hoima town for a short visit to the local market and, through Mabale, Magadi towns. Viewing the local community, thatched houses, and school kids till we reach Fort portal town. One of the ancient colonialist towns that will reward you with amazing views of tea plantations, the Rwenzori mountains, and much more rift valley views.

Morning breakfast will be served, and afterwards, we head to Kibale park headquarters for a morning briefing before chimpanzee tracking. This activity will take you close to our closest relatives that survive in the jungle.

Kibale forest is dense and regarded as the Primate capital of east Africa due to its large numbers of primates and fauna. Expect loads of monkeys, birds, and lots of tree species that will give u a touch of enjoying the jungle.

In the afternoon we shall go for a local lunch experience. You’ll get to have a taste of several African foods. This is done by a family living around the forest as a community-based initiative.

Day 6 – Kibale national park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After having breakfast, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Great views of Rwenzori Mountain, through Kasese town to the Kiwa hot springs. You will experience the natural healing of the underground warm water pool and play some traditional musical instruments as you enjoy storytelling from the local guides. We shall then return to Kasese town for lunch.

Right after lunch, will take you on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Sitting with comfort, you’ll see many bird species, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and much more interesting wildlife

Day 7 – Game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park

Starting the day, as usual, breakfast. Then head for a morning game drive in the park with lots of different wildlife like the Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, giant forest hogs, and lots of birdlife.

We know you love nature and that’s why we shall take a scenic crater to drive through the volcanic plains down to the Katwe explosion salt lakes. Since it’s a salty lake, local mining is a common activity at this place.

We shall then drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This part is famously known for the existence of tree-climbing lions.

Day 8 – Ishasha – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park

After early breakfast, Check out, and continue to Bwindi through the Ishasha plains with chances of seeing the tree-climbing lions on the way. Lunch en en-route and continue to the home of the massive and gentle mountain Gorillas ‘The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Early in the morning, we shall hit the forest for the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime Gorilla trekking experience. The trekking goes through a thick forest where you find the way through until you set eye to eye with the gentle giants in their natural habitat.

The hike through the forest can be short, medium, and sometimes longer depending on the movement of the gorillas. It’s good to set yourself ready for the jungle.

After the trek, we shall transfer to Lake Mutanda for an awesome resting session that will reward us with amazing views of the Virunga volcanoes and beautiful sceneries en route.

Day 10- Transfer to Nshenyi Cultural Village

After a morning canoe trip on the lava-dammed lake, we shall drive to Nshenyi cultural village where we shall have a homestay experience. We shall learn about the culture of the Bahima and their long-horned cows that attract everyone’s eyes. This is something I am sure you’ll enjoy.

We shall participate in the milking sessions, and learn about the daily life of an African family. Expanding your knowledge about Uganda and the different cultures around the country. We shall also participate in the local food preparations and enjoy a local lunch made by us and the family.

Day 11 – Nshenyi cultural village – Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, we shall drive from Lake Bunyonyi and continue to Lake Mburo National Park. While following the game trails, expect to see zebras, elands, Topis, waterbucks, and lots of impalas. After a lunch break, we get ourselves on the way into the park for an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo.

Day 12 – Drive to Kampala

Early morning nature walks, we will get back to the lodge for breakfast. Once breakfast gets done, we shall check out of the park and drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your flight back home.
