Day 1: Drive to Kibale Forests

After having an early breakfast, we shall proceed to Kibale National forest park for your chimpanzee experience in Uganda. Later in the evening, we shall enjoy an evening walk into the Bigodi Wetland. Here you’ll see numerous bird species and other monkey species.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

After breakfast, we shall head for an All-day chimpanzee Habituation experience. Discovering chimpanzees in their natural environment and learning about the ecosystem of the forest. This process takes 3 to 6 hours.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth through the Crater Drives Explosion

After having breakfast, you’ll be transferred to queen national park. While on the way we shall encounter crater lakes, and drive and explore the Rift valley escapement. Reaching the park, you’ll check in at the lodge. Lunch will be served to you then afterwards we go for an afternoon game drive. After viewing and enjoying the atmosphere, we shall head back to the lodge to have dinner and rest.

Day 4: Morning Sun Rise Game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise

After having breakfast, we shall set off to enjoy the sunrise game drive. Driving through the numerous tracks, you’ll the animals in the morning times. You can choose (a lion experience) or a normal game drive. We shall then drive back to the lodge for lunch.

You’ll then head for an afternoon Boat ride on the Kazinga channel. This is incredibly an amazing activity. Sailing on the water, viewing numerous birds and other water-dwelling mammals. An English-speaking boat guide will take you through this experience.

A camera and a pair of binoculars are all you need to enjoy this activity. The cruise takes 2 to 3 hours and we shall head back to the lodge or decide to go see the beautiful twin lakes. Dinner will follow and then afterwards resting.

Day 5: Drive to Ishasha for a Tree Climbing Game Drive

After breakfast, we shall drive to the Ishasha sector also a part of Queen Elizabeth national park. This sector is famously known for the existence of tree-climbing lions. We shall then conduct a game drive looking for the tree-climbing lions.

We shall have lunch and then conduct an afternoon game drive so as to see more wildlife. Transfer back to the lodge, refresh and then have dinner.

Day 6: Drive to Bwindi Gorilla Forests

You’ll have breakfast, check out of the lodge and we drive to Bwindi impenetrable park in the Rushaga area. You’ll see beautiful landscapes as we pitch through valley after valley. We shall make a stopover for lunch and continue with the journey to Bwindi. On reaching the park, you’ll check in at the lodge, have dinner and rest.

Day 7: Gorilla Habituation Experience In Uganda

Have breakfast at 5:30 am then drive to the briefing point. You’ll be in groups of 4 people and be led by trackers to go meet the habituation point. Gorilla Habitation is quite a different experience from gorilla trekking.

In Habitation Gorillas are being trained to put away their fear and get used to human presence. The whole process takes two solid years. Rangers will have briefed you about the behaviours of Gorillas before you start moving in the forest.

Gorillas build their nests for sleeping at night because all they need is to have a safe place. They use leaves and other plant materials to make those one-night spots. After the process, you’ll transfer back to the lodge, refresh and dine.

Day 8: Have a Golden Monkey Experience in Mgahinga

After having breakfast, we shall drive to Mgahinga National park headquarters for Golden monkey tracking. A briefing will be conducted. The tracking process takes about 4 hours. Once it’s all done, we shall have lunch and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi. You’ll check in at the lodge, refresh, have dinner then rest.

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi Boat Cruise

Breakfast will be served in the morning. A cruise on lake Bunyonyi will follow. Taking a canoe, you will be shown numerous islands on this lake. Here you’ll see quite a number of birds. This lake was named after the existence of the many birds at this lake. The word “Bunyonyi” means “small birds” in one of the local languages here. Lake Bunyonyi experience and Batwa pygmy people on the island will really be a memorable time. Lunch and dinner will all be at the beautiful place.

Day 10: Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe for an evening flight

You’ll have breakfast, check out then we drive back to Kampala/Entebbe. We can decide to cross the Rwanda border to Kigali international airport and you fly back home depending on your existing plan.
