This 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi, Uganda, Trekking Mountain Gorillas and Safari in Bwindi, Uganda in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest offers a direct and essential experience to witness the world’s unimaginable mountain gorillas. Initially, you will travel from Kampala to southwestern Uganda, eventually entering a Park that shelters half of the world’s remaining population. Throughout this adventure, you will explore the “Pearl of Africa” and discover the safe, lush habitats of these endangered primates.

Day 1: Drive from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest.

Meet your Guide/Driver at your Hotel or Residence to begin the day. From there, start the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home of the mighty Mountain Gorillas. Along the way, stop at the Uganda Equator line for breakfast and photography; afterwards, pause for lunch in Mbarara City.

Alternatively, our Guide/Driver can pick you up at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. From there, we will arrange your transfer through Rwanda into Uganda for the Bwindi Gorilla Safari.

Upon reaching the gorilla lands, you will encounter amazing nature, people, and landscapes. Afterwards, check in at your nearby booked Lodge to refresh, relax, and prepare for the long-awaited tracking day.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking, Bwindi, Uganda.

Start your day with African espresso coffee before driving to the briefing point by 8:00 am. There, you will meet Park rangers who will provide the necessary knowledge and rules for observing the gorillas—a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After your guide assigns you to a specific gorilla family, the rangers lead you into the wilderness to track these stunning apes. Although the trek typically lasts between two and five hours, you will enjoy a full hour to observe and photograph the family once you locate them.

Once you finish the trek, return to your Hotel to refresh and enjoy a meal. In the early evening, stroll through the nearby towns to explore the diverse local communities living on the Park’s edge.

Day 3: Return to Kampala
