Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to the Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by a member of our team who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala.
Overnight: Fairway Hotel & Spa / Cassia Lodge/ Speke Resort Munyonyo
Day 2: Road Trip Murchison falls N. P Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (Journey time: 5–6 Hrs)
Depart Kampala very early for Murchison Falls National Park. En route to Masindi 3 hours drive out of Kampala, take a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos before proceeding to the National Park.
Upon entrance into the park, visit the top of the falls; here you will spot a permanent rainbow right from the top. The view is rewarding as it explains why Murchison Falls features on many travelers’ bucket lists.
Overnight: Pakuba Safari Lodge / Paraa Safari Lodge/ Bakers Lodge.
After an early breakfast, you will have a game drive through the delta circuit, reputably known for high concentrations of wildlife. This 4-5 hour game drive will reward you with stunning views of the savannah and other plant vegetation of the acacia and Borassus palm trees propagated by elephants all the way from Congo.
Later on, drive back to the lodge and enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the Nile; offering you a chance to experience a variety of wildlife as you enjoy the stunning views along the world’s longest river.
In addition to taking you close to the base of the waterfall, the 3-hour launch trip follows a stretch of the Nile with a compelling African atmosphere. Game viewing is excellent where you will expect; Hippos in their hundreds, The Nile crocodiles, Small herds of buffalo, waterbuck, and kob, Elephants
The birdlife on the banks is so captivating and the birds to be seen include the African fish Eagle, Goliath heron, saddle-billed stork, African Jacana, Pied and malachite kingfishers, African skimmer, Piacpiac, rock pratincole kingfishers, bee-eaters, and many more. After the launch cruise, return to your lodge and stay at leisure with dinner in progress.
Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park (Journey time: 6 – 7 Hrs)
Depart early for Kibale National Park with your lunch stopover (optional) in Hoima.
Kibale National Park has one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical rainforest in Uganda. Forest cover, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, dominates the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau. Upon your arrival, you will drive straight to your Lodge and recuperate from the long journey.
Overnight: Primate Lodge Kibale / Kyaninga Lodge/ Papaya Lake Lodge
Day 5: Explore Kibale National Park
On this day you will take part in Chimpanzee tracking where you will have an exclusive experience of the chimps plus many more primates which include but are not limited to the following; Ugandan Mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, de brazza’s monkey, red colobus monkey, black & white colobus monkey, blue monkeys, baboons and many more varied types of primates Thereafter, return to your lodge for lunch
In the afternoon, visit a local church & Bigodi Trading Centre, Bigodi village trail, and Guided nature walks in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary (Birding). Experience a Ugandan school system, Visit elders’ homes for storytelling and Get engaged in local community interactions.
Be entertained with cultural songs, dances & plays plus souvenir purchases, Visiting homesteads. Later on, after this memorable experience, return to your lodge and enjoy your leisure in a quiet environment with the sounds of fauna.
Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Journey time: 2-3 Hrs)
After your breakfast enjoy a leisurely morning, and later at about 10:30 am start off your journey to ‘’a medley of wonders’’.
On arrival after a stopover at the equator, you will check into your lodge for lunch and refreshments. In the evening have a sundowner in the wilderness and a game drive.
Overnight: Buffalo Safari Lodge/ Mweya Safari Lodge/ Mazike Valley Lodge
Start off the day with a tasty breakfast and then get deeper into the highlights of this amazing park. Dawn Game Drive; explore the park’s flora and fauna including elusive bird species and a wide variety of animals like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, waterbucks, Kobs, warthogs, and many more.
Don’t miss out on the scenic views of the crater lakes like Nyamunuka which is medicinal to the animals.
Katwe Community; Interact with the people and share cultural experiences where you will learn about salt mining by the local means from Lake Katwe.
After here, return to your lodge for lunch. Launch cruise; this is the main activity after lunch where you will spot a number of birds like; the African fish eagle, pelicans, flamingos, Hammerkop, egrets, the African finfoot, pied kingfishers, marabou storks, vultures, kites, many more, together with animals like hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, crocodiles, waterbucks and more as most of them visit water and cool off.
Day 8: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Via Ishasha Sector (Journey time: 4 – 5 Hrs)
After breakfast and a leisurely morning, you will have a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Southerly Ishasha Sector.
Tree climbing lions; is the most captivating experience in Ishasha, thus its popularity in the entire national park. Tree climbing lions that reside up in the acacia and fig trees are spotted hanging up in the trees, as they try to avoid tsetse fly and other ground insects’ bites, and they usually enjoy their prey high up in the trees.
You will have a picnic lunch near R. Ishasha and thereafter proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the afternoon.
Overnight at Mahogany Springs/ Trackers Safari Lodge
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing at exactly 8:00 am, and track will commence in the next 30 min after registration and briefing by the ranger guides.
Gorilla tracking is a very captivating and unforgettable experience that more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. This starts at 8:30 am and can last a few hours to a whole day depending on where the gorillas were left the previous day. After gorilla tracking, return to your lodge and have your lunch.
In the afternoon you may opt for a community tour (optional) where you will meet and interact with the indigenous mountain people (BATWA); learn about their way of life such as; hunting skills, medicinal knowledge, child upbringing, cuisines, art, and crafts and many more interesting aspects.
Day 10: Scenic Journey To The Magical Lake Bunyonyi (Journey time: 2 – 3 Hrs)
After checking out of your Lodge, start off your journey to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival get to your lodge, check-in, and enjoy your lunch.
Then after lunch enjoy a community/nature walk with visits to; The terraced gardens at Lake Bunyonyi as you hike. Birding is awesome here, explore the unique birds of this pristine area. Bakora cave & the Abaheesi (traditional Blacksmiths). Visit a local market, homesteads & local schools around Lake Bunyonyi. Crafts are also there to purchase as souvenirs in support of the community’s development programs.

Day 11: Explore Bunyonyi To Lake Mburo N. Park (Journey time: 3 – 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, you will get involved in yet another adventurous experience which includes a Dug-out canoeing; explore the 29 Islands of Lake Bunyonyi together with guided nature walks. As well as Visit the historical Islands of Akampene (punishment Island), Bwama & Njubeera Island (Sharp’s Island)
Return to your lodge for lunch and refreshments followed by a check-out. Then immediately start off your journey to Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 12: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Lake Mburo
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will go for your game drive in the woodland acacia. Expect a variety of flora and fauna which includes zebras, Roth’s child giraffes, elephants, elands, warthogs, topis, Kobs, and by chance some leopards. Visit the salt licks and watch animals licking natural salt to supplement their diet while at a viewing platform.
After lunch takes a boat cruise that will take you close to the rich flora and fauna of Lake Mburo. And along the shores, you will spot a variety of animals that come to water and cool off, thus suitable during the afternoon.

Day 13: Travel To Kampala City. (Journey time: 4 hrs: -5 hours)
Spend a leisurely day with lunch at the lodge, and after lunch depart Lake Mburo for Kampala. Have a stopover at the equator or a photo opportunity and then proceed to Kampala city. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 14: Kampala Half Day City Tour & Departure (Journey time: 45 mins – 1 hr)
On this final day of your safari, enjoy a brief tour of Kampala city with visits to; the highlights of the city such as the Buganda palace, Uganda museum, Nakasero market, all the historical monuments, the largest craft village, and temples. You will later be transferred to Entebbe International Airport to check in for your flight.
