18 Days Uganda Holiday Safari Expedition
Our 18 Days Uganda Holiday Safari Expedition enlightens the variety of amazing wildlife in the amazing world of passion and adventures. This will bring out fantastic safari experiences with more of the Cultural History of Uganda and its people found with lovely Smiles and pure love. Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
We will meet you upon arrival at the Entebbe airport, and then drive to the hotel in Kampala for a briefing, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This incredible place is home to the only southern white rhinos in Uganda. We will go trekking to view them in their natural habitat. After lunch, we will depart for Murchison Falls National Park and will take a light hike to the top of the falls.
Day 3: Murchison Falls and Albertine Nile boat ride
Early morning game drive to view Jackson’s hartebeests, kobs, giraffes, and lions. In the afternoon we will take a boat ride on the Albertine Nile Delta and will see the falls. The Delta is home to hippos, crocodiles, and many species of birds.
Day 4: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
Morning departure to Kidepo Valley in northeast Uganda. This magnificent place was voted as one of the top safari destinations in Africa by CNN Travel.
Day 5: Game Drive in Kidepo Valley
Morning and afternoon game drive through Kidepo Valley to experience the spectacular wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and the largest concentration of the formidable cape buffalo.
Day 6: Game Drive and Lorukul Cultural Center
Morning and afternoon game drives, then a visit to the Karamojong Cultural Centre located near the park. We will have the opportunity to experience the vibrant traditional dance of the Karamojong ethnic group. They are nomadic pastoralists that have a proud warrior culture.
Day 7: Drive to Moroto and spend the night in Soroti
Lunch in the town of Moroto, next to Mt. Moroto, then head to Soroti to see Lake Kyoga and the granite rock formations. Overnight stay in the city.
Day 8: Morning Drive to Sipi Falls
We will continue our journey to Sipi to see the magnificent waterfalls found on the foothills of Mt. Elgon. There are 3 waterfalls here, each flowing from a different altitude. Our trip includes a visit to the Arabica coffee farms and processing centre for excellent cups of hot coffee.
Day 9: Morning Drive to Kampala
We will return to Kampala to see some of the highlights of the city, then an overnight stay.
Day 10: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Morning drive to the Equator crossing point. We will enjoy a traditional Ugandan meal at a village in the Mpigi district, then depart to Lake Mburo National Park. We will take an evening nature walk.
Day 11: Game Drive at Lake Mburo National Park
This national park is a true gem and will allow us to see families of giraffes, zebras, olive baboons, many antelope species, and the comical warthogs. Afternoon departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 12: Game Drive at Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, we will take a drive, following the Rwenzori Mountain Range. The wildlife is diverse here, and there are opportunities to see lions, elephants, hyenas, mongoose, and a variety of birdlife. In the afternoon, we will take a boat ride to see an oasis of wildlife on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 13: Queen Elizabeth Crater Lakes
After a morning game drive to see the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, we will visit the stunning crater lakes, and mountainside views while enjoying a variety of hot teas.
Day 14: Kibale Forest National Park
We will take another morning game drive, then head out to Kibale Forest for an overnight stay.
Day 15: Chimp Trekking – Kibale Forest
Early morning trip to the Kanyanchu Visitors Center for briefing, then chimpanzee trekking. We will also have the opportunity to see the black and white colobus monkey, the red-tailed monkey, and the grey-cheeked manga-bey. There are 13 primate species in Kibale.
Day 16: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
We will take our journey to Bwindi, and spend a relaxing night at the lodge.
Day 17: Gorilla Trekking
Our journey will begin early in the morning. We will go to the Buhoma region of Bwindi for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the endangered mountain gorillas. After trekking, our next stop will be a visit to the Batwa, the people indigenous to Bwindi.
Day 18: Drive back to the capital city.
We will drive you back to Kampala where you will spend the night. The following day we will have lunch in Entebbe and will take you to the airport.
