Our 4 Days Fishing Safari in Uganda takes you to the Murchison Falls National Park to explore the best fishing areas along the River Nile. So this tour takes you to the world’s longest river, where we will guide you through a memorable fishing experience.

Day 1: Depart from Kampala or Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park – 400 km, 6 hrs.

In the morning, we drive to Murchison Falls National Park in the northwestern part of the country, passing through Masindi Town. Here, we will access the Park via the Budongo Forest this afternoon and reach the top of the Murchison Falls.

Enjoy the views and sounds of the thunderous falls as the River Nile squeezes through a narrow rocky gorge. Afterwards, drive to your Lodge, check in, and relax as you wait for an evening of magnificent sunset views over the wilderness and wildlife along the riverbanks.

Murchison Falls National Park is the largest Park in Uganda, with a wide variety of animals and bird species. The mighty river harbours fish as it lies within the protected areas, but commercial fishing is not permitted.

Overnight stay: Pakuba Lodge, Murchison River Lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park, Nile fishing

After breakfast and sunrise, we head down on the boat to the pools of the River Nile below the roaring Murchison Falls. Expect an array of fish, including Tilapia, Catfish, Barbel fish, and Lungfish. The boat is an excellent platform for fishing and wildlife viewing as we sail along the river.

Overnight stay: Pakuba Lodge, Murchison River Lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park, the River Nile fishing

After breakfast, we leisurely head out to the River Nile for another fishing experience. We will check out some of the best spots around the rocks along the riverbank.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park to Entebbe 400 km, 6 hrs

After breakfast and some relaxation, we return to Entebbe so you can catch your departure flight.
