Day 1: Depart from Kampala or Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park – 400 km, 6 hrs.

In the morning, we drive to Murchison Falls National Park located in the northwestern part of the country through Masindi Town. Here we will access the park through Budongo forests for an afternoon, we will be at the top of the Murchison Falls.

Enjoy the views and sounds of the thunderous falls as the River Nile squeezes through a narrow rocky gorge. Afterwards, drive to your lodge, check in, and relax waiting for an evening magnificent sight of the sunset over the wilderness and animals along the river banks.

Murchison Falls National Park is the largest park in Uganda with a wide variety of animals as well as different bird species. The mighty river harbours fish as it lies within the protected areas but commercial fishing is not permitted.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park, Nile fishing

After breakfast and sunrise, we head down on the boat to the pools of river Nile below the roaring Murchison Falls. Expect an array of fish including Tilapia, Catfish, Barbel fish, and Lungfish.

The boat is an excellent platform for fishing but also wildlife viewing as we sail along the river.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park, river Nile fishing

After breakfast, we leisurely head out to the river Nile for another fishing experience. We will check out some of the best spots around the rocks on the banks of the river.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park to Entebbe 400 km, 6 hrs
