Day 0: Airport EBB – Arrival at Entebbe
Our team will warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer you directly to your Hotel. Once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy a peaceful night’s rest before your adventure begins.
Day 1: Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park. (6 hrs)
After breakfast, we drive to Kibale National Park through the undulating green hills with local farms and tea plantations. We stop in Fort Portal for lunch, with a buffet of local food or à la carte options. Then we transfer to the Lodge and relax to the sights and sounds of the forest.
Kibale National Park encompasses a vast protected tropical rainforest that supports a high density of primates. As night falls, you can enter the forest to spot elusive nocturnal species, such as bushbabies. Consequently, this optional excursion offers a rare glimpse into the jungle’s hidden nightlife.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp
Early in the morning, have breakfast, then go to the Kanyachu Visitor Centre for a briefing on the activity and what to expect in the Park. Enter the forest for the chimpanzee tracking.
Walking at your own pace along the trails is easy in the company of excellent local guides. The guides explain the life of the chimps, tree species, birds, and other mammals that live in the forest.
Encounter the Chimpanzees associating in the trees or on the ground. The primates that you will see include the Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Olive Baboon, Red-tailed Monkey, L’Hoest Monkey, Red Colobus, and Black and White Colobus.
Return to your Accommodation for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, if you have energy, take another walk to see more primates in the nearby Bigodi Community Swamp, which has a similar ecosystem.

Day 3: Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth through crater lakes (4 hrs)
Wake up to a hearty breakfast and views of the forest. We leisurely drive southwards through the scenic Crater Lakes region. Make a stop at the Equator for photos, then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is an open savannah, rainforests, and crater lakes.
Check in at the Lodge and relax for lunch to the sounds and sights of the wilderness. In the afternoon, we do a relaxing nature walk in the Maramagambo jungle. This area is famous for its monkeys and bat caves, which shelter massive snakes. Have dinner, relax, and enjoy the 10 Days Primates Tour in Uganda.

Day 4: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth and Boat Cruise.
In the morning, join your guide for a wildlife safari game drive in Kasenyi to look out for amazing wildlife, including Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Antelopes, Hippos, and more. Get back to the Lodge for Lunch.
Get back for a Boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel, to look out for water animals, like crocodiles, birds, and much more.

Day 5: Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Chimpanzee Trek – Ishasha. (3 hours)
Enjoy an early cup of coffee or tea, and then transfer to Kyambura or Kalinzu Forest. After the briefing, enter the forested gorge to track the chimpanzees and other primates that reside here.
An encounter with groups of primates socialising on the ground or quietly feeding in the trees is an unforgettable experience. Return to the Lodge and have lunch.
Later on, drive to Ishaha, South of Queen Elizabeth, for an Evening Tree Climbing Game Drive.

Day 6: Ishasha morning Game Drive to Bwindi 155 km / 200 km 5 hours
Wake up leisurely to a sumptuous breakfast. They have an en-route morning Game Drive in Ishasha again. We then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable.
On our way, we pass through hilly villages and beautiful landscapes, with mountains offering breathtaking views. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a unique montane forest with many wildlife species and bird species. This jungle is one of the 2 places in the world where you find endangered Mountain Gorillas!!
Overnight stay: Bwindi Jungle Lodge / Gorilla Safari Lodge /Lake Mutanda Resort.
Day 7: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on the trails, Gorilla tracking!!!
Early morning set off in the forest, the highlight being an encounter with a family of Gorillas!! You will have an hour with them for an experience that will last a lifetime. After tracking, return to your Lodge for an exciting tracking of the golden monkeys the next day.

Day 8: Golden Monkey Tracking the Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Early morning after a heavy breakfast, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where gold meets silver for a golden monkey Tracking experience. After tracking these primates, we embark on our journey to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing evening.
Overnight stay: Birdnest Resort / Bunyonyi Safari Resort / Eco Resort
Day 9: Bunyonyi to Kampala
Have breakfast, then take a leisurely drive back to Kampala or Entebbe through the countryside. We cross the Equator along the way. It is possible to use a domestic flight to Entebbe (optional).
Day 10: Entebbe to Ngamba Island Sanctuary (45 min)
First, wake up leisurely for breakfast before catching the mid-morning boat across Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island. Upon arrival, you will explore the sanctuary, which provides a home to orphaned chimpanzees rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. During the tour, you will observe the afternoon feeding session and watch the chimpanzees as they return from the forest at sunset.
After we catch the boat again, we will cross the lake back to the mainland. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
