Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park covers approximately 38 sq km making it the smallest national park uganda has. It’s located in Kisoro District, South western Uganda. The park has 3 of the eight Virunga Volcanoes; namely Mount Gahinga, Mount Sabinyo and Mount Muhabura.

Mt Gahinga and Muhabura lie on the Uganda-Rwanda border and Mt Sabinyo on the Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo borders and hence makes these dormant volcanoes international.

It’s the second habitat of the Mountain Gorillas.
