5 Day Chimpanzee Canopy and Gorilla Rwanda Safari
The 5 Day Chimpanzee Canopy and Gorilla Rwanda Safari will be into the Nyungwe Forest National Park for Chimpanzee Tracking and the Canopy Walk in the elevated forest and also encounter the Volcanoes National Park for the amazing Gorilla Trekking Excursions
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest.
In the Morning, our driver will keep time at 8:00 am and have a visit to the Kigali Memorial Museum, then start off the journey to Nyungwe Forest. Along the way, have lunch in Huye as well as visit the Nyamata Museum and later on continue to Nyungwe at your reserved lodge for an overnight.
Accommodation: Nyungwe Hill Top View.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
In the Morning early enough, transfer to the RDB offices for a Briefing to start early the chimpanzee tracking that day, and drive to the forest for a distance of 1 hour or more and enter the Nyungwe to look out for the Chimpanzee with your dedicated guide.
Later on, after the forest, drive back to the lodge for Late Lunch and rest. This afternoon, we drive to the visitor’s centre for the Canopy Walk. An amazing experience. Afterwards, drive back to your hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Musanze and Cultural Tour
In the morning we will drive through Kibuye & Gisenyi allowing us to take in the beauty of Lake Kivu and the multiple islands. We will have lunch in Gisenyi then continue driving to Musanze And have a Cultural Tour in the while at the Lodge.
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Lifetime Experience
On this lovely morning, have a big breakfast and get to the Park Headquarters with your guide for the general briefing, your guide will help in participating in the allocation of groups which are randomly assigned and then have a final talk to the lead ranger who will guide you through the Forest in search of the amazing mountain gorilla. I have a wide lifetime of experience.
Day 5: Transfer to Kigali Airport
On our final travel day, Breakfast we leave at the desired time and descend back to Kigali for our Airport Flight back home or to the next destination.
