This 1-day Lake Mburo Safari Tour takes you to Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda for wildlife safaris, bird watching, a boat cruise, and a guided nature walk. Although the Park is the smallest savanna Park in Uganda, it encompasses a large portion of the Lake Mburo–Nakivali Wetland System, which borders the savanna extension grounds leading toward Tanzania.

The Park is home to a diverse range of animals, including zebras, impalas, elands, topi, and wild oxen. Furthermore, you can spot a noteworthy bird population here, which includes the rare Shoebill stork.

We will set off from Kampala at 7:00 a.m. and head toward western Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park. During the journey, we will stop at the Equator before completing the 3 to 4-hour drive.

Next, you will proceed through the countryside until you arrive at the Park gates. After you settle the entrance fees, you will begin a game drive to spot wildlife such as zebras, hippos, crocodiles, elands, gazelles, impalas, and a variety of amazing birds.

Afterwards, you will enjoy lunch at the restaurant overlooking the lake before joining a two-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This excursion offers great opportunities to spot aquatic wildlife, such as hippos, crocodiles, and various birds. Finally, you will drive back to Kampala, arriving late in the evening.
