On this 16 Days Uganda Kenya Wildlife Safari, Gorillas and Chimpanzees, and Cultural tour, you expect to explore more about the Karamojong of Uganda and the wildlife in Africa’s true wildernesses, Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will pick you up on time and transfer you to the Hotel for relaxation as you embark on the next once-in-a-lifetime adventure through the Pearl of Africa and Magical Kenya.

Day 2: Drive up north to Kitgum, visit the Rhinos en route, and Fort Patiko. (10 hrs drive)
Today we shall drive north of Kampala to Kitgum, the closest city to Kidepo Valley National Park, regarded as the true African wilderness and ranked 3rd-best African national Park by CNN Travel for its amazing wildlife, landscapes, and scattered savannah vegetation.
We expect to stop for a nature rhino-tracking walk and then have lunch en route in Gulu. If time allows, visit Fort Patiko, which has a strong historical significance, as we continue overnight in Kitgum.

Day 3: Drive through the typical African village to the Kidepo National Park for an evening game drive.
After a delicious breakfast, we then have a beautiful drive through the typical African villages of the Acholi culture in northern Uganda. Expect to arrive early at your Hotel in Kidepo Valley National Park for lunch, and enjoy the breathtaking views and fresh winds.
You will also do an evening safari through the Narus Valley, which is famous for hosting 1000 Buffalo, Elephants, Antelopes, Lions, Leopards, and much more wildlife.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drives in the Kidepo Narus Valley.
First, you embark on full-day safaris around Kidepo Valley National Park to search for the unique wildlife in this beautiful landscape. As you explore, you spot cheetahs, ostriches, leopards, lions, elands, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and much more.
If your interest is in birds, you will discover quite a few beautiful savanna species throughout the Park. Next, you take a lunch break at the Hotel to recharge. Finally, you continue your adventure through one of Uganda’s most remote and stunning wildernesses.

Day 5: morning Game Drive and visit the Karamojong Cultural People.
After a delicious breakfast, you will take a short safari as you head out of the Park to the Karamoja region, famous for the Karamajong people, who have a unique culture among the 52 cultures living in Uganda.
Expect to drive through typical African villages that will make you appreciate the beautiful life in Africa. We shall have an evening visit to the homesteads and enjoy a campfire with the people as we learn about their culture.

Day 6: Drive to Sipi Falls via Pian Upe for a morning Nature Walk.
Today, we shall explore the beautiful culture of the Karamajong people by visiting one of their homesteads and observing their day-to-day lives. After the visit, we shall head out to the Sipi Falls region with a stopover in Pian Upe Game Reserve for a wild walk to view some pretty wildlife.

Day 7: Explore Sipi Falls and go abseiling.
First, you explore the beautiful Sipi Falls region by taking a three-hour walk around the falls. This journey offers plenty of photo opportunities and breathtaking views as you pass through the villages of the Sabei people. Later, you enjoy an evening coffee experience. During this time, you learn exactly how the local people brew their world-class coffee.

Day 8: Drive west of the Mountain Kenya Ranges
Today, we shall leave the Pearl of Africa and enter magical Kenya, which will offer us a great opportunity to explore its beautiful wildlife, landscapes, and people.
With our wide eyes, we shall drive west of Kenya and stay in Iten, which is famous for high-altitude training for athletes and offers a great view of the Great East African Rift Valley.

Day 9. Enjoy a sunrise drive as you head to Nakuru
Enjoy a relaxed morning, then take a scenic drive along the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley as you head out to Nakuru. En route, you expect to visit Lake Baringo, which is famous for hosting millions of Flamingos

Day 10. Big Five Safari game drive in Nakuru
Visit Lake Nakuru National Park for a safari to search for the Black and White Rhinos as we start our count of the BIG 5 African wild mammals that rule the jungle. The Park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including Elands, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and much more. Expect to have lunch at your Hotel and relax in the afternoon.

Day 11. Drive to the Masai Mara National Park through the Masai Typical Villages.
Today we shall embark on a 7-hour drive from the Lake Nakuru region to the mighty Masai Mara, regarded as a wildlife Paradise in Africa, where thousands of wildlife species thrive on the great Savannah plains. In the typical Maasai villages, the pretty smiles on African faces will welcome us and make us feel at home.

Day 12 & 13: Big 2 Game drive Safari Days for the entire wildlife.
Explore and enjoy the Mara plains as we look for the Big 5 mammals, including Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalo, and Rhinos.
There is also a wide range of unique wildlife, including Cheetahs, Gazelles, Ostriches, Masai Giraffes, Gnus, Hyenas, Jackals, and much more. So, prepare your cameras for a once-in-a-lifetime safari adventure with wildlife.

Day 14: Drive to Kisumu, leaving the Masai Mara
We leave the Masai Mara and then drive to Kisumu. A break from our journey to Uganda in the old colonial town of Kenya, close to Lake Victoria.

Day 15: Exploit the Smiles of Kenya and Cross back to Uganda
As we appreciate the smiles Kenya puts on our faces, we shall cross over to the Pearl of Africa and stay in Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda, which offers a range of activities. Expect to visit the Source of the Ni, the world’s longest river.

Day 16: Relaxing morning, then return to Entebbe Airport
