3 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari Tour Starting from Kampala

The 3 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari Tour takes you to Kidepo Valley National Park, which is one of the most spectacular parks in Uganda and is 1,440 sq. km. The Park is ideal for good walking safaris as well as day and night game drives. There is a good chance of seeing Lions, large herds of Elephants, buffalo, a Leopard, and a cheetah.

You can also look out for various bird species, such as ostriches. The Park is located approximately an 8-9-hour drive from Kampala, via Gulu and Kitgum, in the Karamoja region.

Day 1: Depart for Kidepo Valley National Park

Depart Kampala or Entebbe at 6.00 am after breakfast and drive Northwards via Gulu and Kitgum Towns. The journey takes about 7-9 hours, including stops, and we finally arrive at Kidepo Park in the evening, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and the Sunset.

Day 2: Game Drives at Kidepo Valley National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive toward the Kanangorok Hot Springs. Keep a lookout for diverse wildlife, including the majestic ostrich, roaming the plains. After returning to the Lodge for lunch, spend your evening on a second game drive or immerse yourself in a Karamoja cultural experience by meeting the local people at Karenna and Kapedo.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala.

After breakfast, we embark on the 4-hour drive to Gulu for Lunch at the Churchill Courts and continue to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
