24 Days Rwanda Uganda Kenya Safari offers an immersive East African experience, combining top primate trekking with world-class savannah game viewing. Highlights include tracking mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes and Uganda’s Bwindi, chimpanzees in Kibale, and spotting the Big Five in Kenya‘s Masai Mara.
Day 1: Arrival at the airport in Rwanda
Arrive at the airport in Rwanda, where we warmly welcome you and transfer you to your Hotel for a restful evening.
Day 2: Rwanda City tour, visiting the genocide museum and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Start with a Rwanda City tour, including a poignant visit to the Genocide Memorial. Afterwards, travel toward the lush landscapes of Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Day 3: Nyungwe canopy walk and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda
Experience the thrill of a canopy walk high above the Nyungwe Forest. Following this adventure, cross the border and drive to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda.
Day 4: boat cruise on the lake and canoe self-cruise
Spend the day on the water, beginning with a relaxing boat cruise. Later, enjoy a self-guided canoe exploration to soak in the beauty of the lake’s many islands.
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking uganda
Embark on an unforgettable Gorilla Tracking expedition in the ancient rainforests of Uganda and come face-to-face with these majestic primates.
Day 6: drive to Ishasha, have an afternoon game drive, and an evening game drive.
Drive to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Once there, head out for both afternoon and evening game drives to search for the famous tree-climbing lions.
Day 7: morning Game drive and an Afternoon Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Kick off the morning with a game drive before enjoying an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Finally, conclude the day with an evening game drive through the Kasenyi plains.
Day 8: morning game drive and drive to Kasese for the hot spring showers.
Enjoy one last morning game drive before heading to Kasese to relax in the natural hot springs. Later, proceed to Kibale National Park for your overnight stay
Day 9: morning Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Nature Walk for more primates.
Head into the forest for morning Chimpanzee Tracking. In the afternoon, take a nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland to spot even more primate species and colourful birds.
Day 10: Drive to Murchison Falls, visit the top of the falls.
Travel to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the thundering “top of the falls” in the evening. Afterwards, cross the Nile by ferry to reach your Lodge for the night.
Day 11: morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise and an evening game drive.
Explore the Park with a morning game drive, followed by an afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls. Wind down with an evening game drive across the savannah.
Day 12: morning game drive (or morning Boat cruise to the delta) and afternoon game drives
Choose between a morning game drive or a boat cruise toward the Albert Delta. In the afternoon, continue your wildlife search with further game drives through the Park.
Day 13: morning game drive and later drive to Kidepo Valley National Park.
Start with a final morning game drive in Murchison before embarking on the long, scenic journey to the remote Kidepo Valley National Park.
Day 14: Full-day game drive to explore Kidepo wilderness.
Spend a full day exploring the rugged Kidepo wilderness, where you can discover unique wildlife found nowhere else in Uganda.
Day 16: morning game drive and an afternoon Karimajong culture visit, followed by a sunset game drive.
Enjoy a morning game drive, then immerse yourself in local traditions during an afternoon Karamojong cultural visit. Finish the day with a stunning sunset game drive.
Day 17: morning game drive and drive to Pian Upe Game Reserve.
Set out for a morning game drive before driving south to the vast and beautiful Pian Upe Game Reserve.
Day 18: morning and evening game drive in Pian Upe
Dedicate the day to exploring Pian Upe with both morning and evening game drives to spot cheetahs, ostriches, and elegant antelopes.
Day 19: morning game drive, visit the culture, and later transfer to the Siri Falls area
After a morning game drive and a local cultural encounter, transfer to the Sipi Falls area on the slopes of Mount Elgon.
Day 20: morning nature hike of all the 3 water falls of Sipi from the caldera of mtn Elgon.
Embark on a morning nature hike to witness all three spectacular Sipi waterfalls, which plunge from the ancient volcanic caldera.
Day 21: Drive to Maasai Mara in Kenya
Leave the highlands behind and drive across the border into Kenya, heading toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Day 22: full day safari in Masai Mara
Dive into a full-day safari adventure in the Maasai Mara, tracking the “Big Five” across the vast African plains.
Day 23: Full-day safari in the Mara Masai
Continue your exploration with another full day of safari, maximising your chances to witness dramatic wildlife interactions in the Mara.
Day 24: drive to Nairobi
Enjoy your final breakfast in the wild before driving to Nairobi to conclude your epic East African journey.
