The Duration of 6 Days | 5 Nights and Locations in Entebbe, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Jinja, Uganda

ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport.

Meet and greet by The Wild Travel Safaris Company Driver/Guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe (+/-15 minutes). Overnight at the Boma Guest House (BB).

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable.

Early morning pickup at 06h00 from your hotel and transfer to Entebbe Airport (+/- 15 minutes) for a scheduled flight to Kisoro (07h45/08h55). Pick up from Kisoro Airstrip and transfer by road for 2 hours to Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge in the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. In the afternoon visit the Community in Nkuringo village.

Overnight at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge (FB + non-premium brand drinks).

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Full day Gorilla tracking in the Nkuringo area (depending on gorilla permit availability)

Overnight at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge (FB + non-premium brand drinks).

Day 4: Transfer to Jinja Airstrip

After breakfast, transfer by road for 2hrs from Clouds to Kisoro Airstrip to catch a scheduled flight from Kisoro/Entebbe (09h10/11h25). (note that the scheduled flight makes two stops at different airstrips before arriving at Entebbe Airport hence the difference in time from the direct flight Entebbe – Kisoro on day 2). Pick up from Entebbe Airport and drive towards Jinja town. Lunch en – route and stop at the source of the Nile. (-/+ 3 hours)

Overnight at Wild waters Lodge (FB)

Day 5: Jinja Activities

Day at leisure or participate in various adventure activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, horse riding, mountain biking, kayaking, Jinja city tour, and many others (not included).
