5 Days Student Safari and Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

Our 5 Days Student Safari and Gorilla Trekking in Uganda provides students a great chance to better explore the different wonders and beautiful sceneries as well as the varied Wildlife.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

The students will be picked up from their accommodation by our driver and you will head Western to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make a brief stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe to take photographs. You will drive on, stopping in Mbarara for Lunch thereafter drive on to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2: Game drive and Launch Cruise

The students will have an early breakfast and then go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi area. You may see animals like Lions, Buffaloes, leopards, Elephants, Kob, Antelopes, Spotted hyenas, and the elusive giant forest hog. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon you will for a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. You will get up close to a variety of animals like hippos, and buffalo lingering in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink-backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and many others. After the boat safari, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park also called Ishasha. In this sector, you might see rare tree-climbing lions. You will drive on to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

5 Days Student Safari and Gorilla Trekking in UgandaDay 4: Mountain Gorilla Trekking

The students will have an early breakfast and then head to the Ranger station for a briefing about Gorilla trekking. For mountain gorilla trekking, you will be accompanied by armed rangers and guides in the forest to find the elusive Mountain gorilla. Trekking is a physical activity as you have to go through the forest, slashing at the undergrowth, and parting thick creepers, to get up close to the gorillas. Trekking Mountain Gorillas can take between 2 to 9 hours.

Upon reaching the Gorillas, you will have one hour with them, you will interact with them, and take photographs and videos. You will head back to your accommodation after the activity. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp accommodation.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala

After breakfast, you will start the drive back to Kampala with lunch en route in Mbarara town. You will also stop at the Equator for photographs and souvenirs. You will reach Kampala in the evening.
