Day 1: Arrival Date.

Arrive at Entebbe Airport where you will be welcomed and transferred to any hotel of your choice depending on your budget. We can help you arrange your accommodation but you will have to pay for it yourself.

3 Days Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Safari to_Ngamba Island Sanctuary in UgandaDay 2: Entebbe – Ngamba Island (About 45 – 60 Minutes)

After breakfast, we will head out to the waterfront club jetty on Lake Victoria for a cruise to Ngamba Island about 23 kilometers from Entebbe town. On our way, we will cross the Uganda Equator on Lake Victoria where the captain will make a stop for you to get the time and take pictures.

On the island, you will be welcomed by your guide who will lead you to check-in at an African-style Tented Camp on the island. At your accommodation facility, you’ll have a perfectly suited bathroom and solar lighting.

Later you will view the chimpanzees feeding at a very close distance while standing on a raised platform. You’ll see them play around, groom young ones, and do other kinds of behavior.

In the afternoon, you will participate in chimpanzee caregiver activities for example; preparing food for the chimps and feeding them by throwing them.

Evening, as the day ends we shall have an exclusive sunset cruise as you enjoy the unique view of fishermen casting their nets, fishing villages as they wind down the day, and of course, the golden circular site of nature’s eye going to sleep. Call it the sunset. Return back for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngamba Trail and departure

Have an early morning cup of tea/coffee then proceed to the forest where you will learn about the rich ecosystems and abundant life of the 95-acre rainforest.

You will learn how the chimps spend their days, what they eat while in the wild, and how they hunt while following their trails in the forest. You will also be treated to sights of different plants, tree species, and over 120 bird species.

You’ll see the Ngamba cave where you will get to learn about its history and why it was chosen as a home for the 49 chimpanzees.

Enjoy breakfast at the Restaurant, later view the chimp feeding then depart for Entebbe.
