After the visit, we shall drive to Camp 15. From there, we visit Boya tribal villages. The Boya are similar to the Toposa but speak a different language and decorate their hair differently. Breakfast. After visiting the Boya Culture, we drive to the Lotuko Mountains. We will leave the car at the foot of the rocky hills and climb (an easy climb) for 20 minutes to Ilieu village, a traditional Lotuko village that is a jewel for lovers of nature and architecture.

In many ways, this site reminds me of Machu Picchu in Peru. Because the builders positioned the rock walls perfectly to adapt to the mountain’s geography, the entire structure feels integrated into the landscape. Consequently, we believe you should spend one night with the community to enjoy a traditional dinner and local music. By staying overnight, you will also experience vibrant evening dances and a deeper connection to the local culture.
