10 Days Visit Rwanda Safari

The 10 Days visit Rwanda safari covers Nyungwe National park, Chimpanzee tracking, Lake Kivu, Volcano National Park, Gorillas Tracking, Golden Monkey, Akagera National Park, Ihema Lake, Kigali.

Day 1: pick up from Airport to Kigali Hotel

Pick UP by our company tour guide on arrival at the Kigali international airport and depending on your arrival time, you will have a city tour of Kigali’s history to the Gisozi genocide memorial site, the national library, local markets, craft shops.

Day 2: Drive to Nyungwe forest.

In the Morning, our driver will keep time at 8:00am then start off the journey to Nyungwe Forest. Along the way, have lunch in Huye as well visit the Nyamata Museum and later on continue to Nyungwe at your reserved lodge for an overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk

In the Morning early enough, transfer to the RDB offices for Briefing for as to start early the chimpanzee tracking that day, and drive to the forest for a distance of 1 hour or more and enter the Nyungwe to look out for the Chimpanzee with your dedicated guide.

Later on after the forest, drive back to the lodge for Late Lunch and rest. The this afternoon, we drive to the visitor’s center for the Canopy Walk. An amazing experience. Afterwards, drive back at your hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Kibuye

Relax in the Morning at your Lodge and after lunch In the afternoon we drive to Kibuye on the shores of the beautiful Lake Kivu (4 hours). In the afternoon you have the opportunity to kick back and relax in and around the lodge. The lodge also has water sports equipment for hire.

Overnight at Cormoran Lodge (BLD)

Day 5: Drive to Gisenyi & Volcanoes

In the morning we will drive from Kibuye to Gisenyi allowing us to take in the beauty of Lake Kivu and the multiple islands. We will have lunch in Gisenyi before driving to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking

On this lovely morning, have big breakfast and get to the Park Headquarters with your guide for the general briefing, you guide will help in participating for allocation of group which are randomly assigned and the have a final talk to the lead ranger who will guide you through the Forest in search of the amazing mountain gorilla. Day 7: Golden Monkeys

This morning, have breakfast and head to the same Headquarters of the park like before and this time around we will only visit to see the golden monkeys that have managed to only survive in the montane forested areas like in the bamboo trees.

This evening, you might want to relax at the lodge or have an evening walk in the Musanze city of Rwanda to greet and meet new People on the streets

Day 8: Drive to Akagera Park

Wake up for a cup of coffee and hit the road to transfer to Akagera national park, reaching in time for an early for lunch at Akagera game Lodge. After lunch, go for afternoon game drive to look out for Elephants, Zebras, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Lions and Much more

Day 9: Game drive and Boat at Lake Ihema

Early morning, you will go for game drives up to the northern part of the park to catch up with early risers before they go into hiding. You will have chance to see lions, antelopes, giraffes, bush bucks among others. Return to the hotel for relaxation by 11:00am, and then lunch.

After lunch, go for afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you will be rewarded with view of game as hippos, crocodiles, as well as a variety of bird species.
