A Guide to taking a Nile Cruise in Egypt, Cruising the Nile is truly the best way of experiencing the wonders of Egypt and it allows you to see many amazing places whilst enjoying gorgeous views, sunshine 🌞 and relaxing in a moving hotel ❤️

🗺 Where? 🗺

Most Nile cruises will begin in either Cairo, Luxor, or Aswan. Tours can start from 2 days up to a week +. (4 days is perfect)

💰 How much? 💰

A 4 nights cruise starting in Luxor and finishing in Aswan cost $400 USD per person (£301).

You can also book the boat directly for around €45 euros per night for a double cabin- not including any tours or guides but you could organize these yourself very easily.

There are hundreds of different boats ranging from basic and outdated to midrange and luxury.
Our boat was called – Champollion || and was a mid-range boat- we thought it was great private cabins, swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar- highly recommend!! 🙂

😃Booking a tour 😃

We booked the tour online with Viator. There are plenty of different tour providers offering different prices/boats and tours but we found this company to have good reviews, and reputable and the boat had a pool 🙂 #sold

✅ Itinerary: ✅

Day 1: Start in Luxor. Hot air balloon ride (we missed this due to last-minute complications but it is usually included)
Tour the east bank and West Bank then board the boat and sail to Edfu.

Day 2: Arrive in Edfu. Visit Edfu temple, and Kom-Ombo temple, and sail to Aswan. Party on the boat 🛥

Day 3: Early start to Abu Simbel. Return to the boat around 2 pm and relax 😃🌞

Day 4: Tour to Aswan high dam, Philae temple.
Visit the Nubian village (additional- can organize yourself easily with any of the small boats.

Day 5: Check out after breakfast and depart from Aswan 🙂
