9 Days Kampala Jinja and Chimpanzee Safari

The 9 Days Kampala Jinja and Chimpanzee Safari include a City Tour in the busiest Kampala City in Uganda and the source of the Nile in Jinja for white-water rafting and Wildlife Chimpanzee Safaris in Uganda’s most popular tourist destinations.

Day 1: Kampala to Jinja for the Source of the Nile.

After morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your guesthouse and drive you to Jinja. Along the way, you will visit the Historical Sezibwa Falls after having a Nature walk in the Mabira forest which is an African rainforest in central Uganda.

Then cross the River Nile Bridge for Lunch at Java House, Later you drive to the source of the Nile. At the Source of the Nile, you will get on a Motorised Boat to see the Start Point of the Source of the world’s longest river on Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Whitewater Rafting & Quad Bikes in Jinja

Have Enough Breakfast in the morning and join the Rafting team for the Water Adventure of Rafting the Mighty Long River of the World, This is an amazing and incredible Fun Adventure of a Lifetime that should probably not be missed while in Jinja, Uganda.

Get back and Have lunch and continue with the Quad Bike Adventure through the Local Villages, a chance to flitting with local people. later get back and Transfer back to Kampala.

Day 3: Have a City Tour in Kampala

This Morning, our Guide will pick you up and start off with a Boda ride to the Gaddafi Mosque, the Church Cathedrals Rubaga, and Namirembe, Still visit the Bahai Temple and Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine and Have Lunch (Oluwombo) in the Capital City. Visit the Buganda Kingdom and the Uganda National Museum.

Later go to Ndere Cultural Centre ready to explore the different cultures and norms through music, dance, and drama. You will have a great evening and enjoy the African food. After driving back to your guesthouse to relax and enjoy the night.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth via the Equator

We will pick you up and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. One of the parks with the big five animals which include elephants, buffalo, and lions to mention but a few plus other park animals like hippos and attractive birdlife. On your way to the park, you will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe, while at the equator you will take photos and have your lunch in Mbarara town. After driving directly to the park.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Start with a morning game drive to look out for animals like elephants, buffalos, hyenas lions, leopards, and many others. Get Lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you will have a boat launch on the Kazinga channel to view some of the largest concentrations of hippos in the world and with excellent birding, After proceed to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 6: Have a Morning Crater Drive and an Evening Game drive.

Have breakfast, then drive towards Crater World Explosion to see amazing Crater lakes like Katwe crater lake, Bunyaruguru craters (they contain saline and freshwater lakes), Ndali, and Kasenda craters. Enjoy the scenic crater drives which will give you a view of enormous craters. Get Back to the Lodge for Relaxation or do an Evening Game Drive this Evening.

Day 7: Kalinzu Chimpanzee Tracking & Continue to Kibale

In the Morning, drive close to Kalinzu Forest and get in touch to track the chimpanzees in the Kalinzu Reserved Area, and theater, get back to the Lodge, and After Continue to Kibale National park. On arrival at Kibale National Park

Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will drive to the headquarters with packed lunch for briefing, at exactly 8:00 am, you will start your adventure searching for chimpanzees as well as other primates like mangabey black and white colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys.

In the afternoon you will go for a walk to the Bigodi wetland swamp where you will have a look at birds like kingfishers, waxbills, weavers, cuckoos, and hornbills as well as mammals like antelopes, bush pigs, otters, bushbucks, and mongoose, you will learn a lot about the mammals and bird species later proceed to the lodge.

Day 9: Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe

Late breakfast, then check out at your lodge and drive towards Fort Portal town. Visit the Amabere ga nyina mwiru Caves, and have lunch at Fort Portal after driving directly back to Kampala or Entebbe.
