3 Days Queen Elizabeth Game Galore
Arrive at one of the many lodges or campsites in or around Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon, check in and relax before leaving for a 2-3 hour evening game drive on the Kasenyi plains. Return to your lodge or camp for the night.
Rise early and take a packed breakfast with you on your morning game drive along the Katunguru Channel Tracks and looping trails (1-2 hours); pass through Kabatoro Gate to ‘Crater Lake Drive, Stop at the Baboon Cliffs lookout for breakfast and to admire the views.
End your morning drive at Queen’s Pavilion for a cup of coffee or tea and look back on the rolling hills you have just traversed and the steep slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Enjoy a picnic lunch here, return to your camp or lodge or choose a restaurant near Kikorongo or on the Mweya Peninsula where you can relax and enjoy the wild scenery. After lunch head to the Visitor Information Center on Mweya Peninsula to purchase your tickets for a 3pm boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel
After returning from the boat cruise at around 5pm, take a leisurely game drive along the channel track and looping trails, before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner.
This is your last chance to see game before heading on your way! Have an early breakfast and head to Kasenyi Plains for a morning game drive.
If you are not rushing off to your next destination, visit Katwe Salt Lake and village to learn about traditional salt mining in Lake Katwe that has persisted since the 16th Century. From here there is also the option of taking a short walk to the neighboring Lake Munyenyange where you might glimpse lesser flamingos (August-November) and other bird life. Be sure to stop at Katwe Tourism Information Center (KATIC) to pick up your guide.
3 days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Tour

Day 1: Kampala-Queen Elizabeth
Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Fort Portal just under the Ruwenzori Mountains. A stopover for your lunch en route in Fort Portal thereafter proceed to Queen Elizabeth for an evening sunset en route game drive to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Kasenyi Safari Camp/Katara Lodge (high-end lodge) or Enganzi Safari Lodge (Mid Lodge) or Simba Safari Lodge/Bush Lodge (Budget Facility) Meal Plan Lunch and Dinner
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth
Early morning game drives to see more animals that habit this park, that include predators’ lion. Leopard and other game. Over 500 bird species have been identified here, making it a Mecca for bird-watchers. They include the black bee-eater, 11 different species of kingfisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors. Queen Elizabeth National is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices. It borders on Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel in the western area of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After lunch take a 2-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes with elephants at the banks. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Day 3: Queen-Kampala/Entebbe (Morning Chimp Trek)
Ready to enjoy a guided Chimpanzee trek along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge after your morning breakfast. Thereafter, drive to Mbarara for lunch. Return to Kampala at your own pace for your evening flight back home or to your next destination. Meal Plan B-L. End of service
